What is forward head posture?

In simple terms, forward head posture is a bad posture. It is one of the most common posture problems. In this condition, the skull protrudes forward more than an inch over the body into in the neck. If the good bacteria is killed or eliminated from the gut, the bad bacteria such as Clostridium difficile may grow out of control and they can cause different health problems.

Cranberry juice for urinary tract infections

In some studies it was found that people who drink cranberry juice regularly may be safe from urinary tract infections (UTI). It is generally caused by bacteria that live in the intestine. It is also the second most common infection seen in human beings. This problem is more common in women. Cranberry is contained special compounds which are thought to stop infection. It is effective against bacteria like Escherichia coli and does not allow the bacteria to live in the lining of the urinary tract. A study published in the journal Archives of Internal Medicine found that women who regularly drink cranberry juice where 38% less likely to suffer from UTIs. However, there are some other research which suggested that they could not find any significant effectiveness of the cranberry juice.

Cinnamon for controlling blood sugar

Several studies found that cinnamon can be used for controlling blood sugar levels and fats in the blood. However, the results of different studies were found to be mixed. It 2009 study found that in 12 weeks people with type 2 diabetes who took cinnamon everyday found the blood sugar levels are reduced by 0.36% in comparison to people who did not take cinnamon who found the blood sugar levels increased by 0.13%. Another study which was conducted in September 2012 found that there is no significant difference in blood sugar levels in case of type 1 and type 2 diabetes patients who took cinnamon regularly in comparison to patients were given a placebo.

Primrose oil for eczema

Eczema is a rash like and itchy skin condition which is mostly seen in babies during the first year. This is a condition which is generally triggered by an allergy to some foods, animal dander, stress or how some products. Some studies found that Primrose oil can reduce and come the itching of eczema. Some other studies could not find any sufficient evidence to suggest any benefit of using Primrose oil in case of patients suffering from eczema. There are some other and better alternatives available like a good cream moisturiser or a corticosteroid cream which can probably help better.
