There may be many reasons why you not losing belly fat but there are some reasons which are so subtle that you may not notice them.
You have low magnesium
If you are not losing belly fat even after trying different diets and exercising regularly, then probably your body has low magnesium. Magnesium is necessary for more than 300 chemical reactions including regulating blood sugar levels and it is also important in weight loss and losing belly fat. A study published in the Journal of Nutrition found that when you consume higher levels of magnesium it is associated with lower levels is fasting glucose and insulin. Sleep problems
If you are not sleeping enough, then also it may become very difficult for you to lose belly fat. Sleep is a complex process and it has many influences in your body and mind. Lack of sleep can have some serious consequences when you're trying to lose fat. If you're a woman and you are sleeping five or fewer hours every night, you are likely to experience major weight gain in comparison to women who got more sleep. A scientific study found that when women got four hours of sleep instead of eight, they consume more than 300 extra calories every day and that came mostly from fatty foods. When you sleep less, your body will produce the ghrelin hormones in high quantities and this hormone is responsible for stimulating appetite.
You need 7 to 9 hours of sleep a night and you need quality sleep. Remove anything that can distract you, keep your room cool, avoid caffeine after lunch and always try to maintain the same sleeping schedule.
