When you lips are dry and cracked, it changes the appearance of your face. You want your lips to be hydrated, so it is also important not to lick them (it may take a while to break a negative habit). - Break Out A Toothbrush
Toothbrushes aren’t just for cleaning your teeth! Look for a toothbrush that has soft bristles and use it to give your lips a good scrub. The best time of day to do this is just before you go to bed at night. Do not brush from side to side; instead, make small circles on your lips with the bristles. Doing so will help to exfoliate, getting rid of the dead skin and improving the circulation of the blood.
- Keep A Moisturizer Handy
If you truly want soft, pink lips, you need to keep them moisturized. Don’t just pick up any product, though, and assume it will work well. You want a high quality moisturizer, which will ensure that the lips are hydrated and healthy. One ingredient to look for is cocoa butter, although olive oil and coconut oil work well too. In addition, make sure you put on Vaseline before you retire for the evening.

It is a good idea to use a lip balm, but you must select something that will hydrate your lips. Look at the ingredient list; you want something that has both beeswax and oil (coconut, jojoba). Almond oil and Shea butter is fine as well.
If your skin is sensitive, look for a lip balm that does not contain camphor. If your skin is normal, you can likely handle both camphor and menthol.

Put cucumber juice on your lips. Doing so will help ensure that you get the pink color that you want. Alternatively, you can take a slice of cucumber and rub it on your lips for five minutes per day. This is especially useful if your lips are darker than you would like them to be.

A milk lip pack is easy to put together; simply take some milk and cream and mix them together. There should be the same amount of each. Then put saffron in. Store it all in the refrigerator and put it on your lips once per day. To take it off, use cotton. You’ll notice a difference in your lips very quickly!
- Utilize A Sugar Lip Scrub
Sugar scrubs are great for getting rid of dead skin, and they serve that purpose for your lips as well. To make your own, combine honey, lemon juice and sugar. There should be the same amount of each. Once your sugar lip scrub is mixed, put a small amount on your lips and rub it in. Not only will they feel better, but they will look more pink, too.

If your lips are darker than you would like, crush up pomegranate seeds and mix them with milk cream. Put this on your lips once a day and they will soon be in much better condition.
- Utilize Glycerin, Beetroot And Honey
If your lips are dark, combine lemon juice and glycerin (in equal parts) and put the mixture on your lips. If your lips are dry, put on honey before you go to bed. In the morning, gently rub your lips with a toothbrush. Beetroot juice also helps improve the appearance of your lips.
