If you want to get a younger looking skin, there are a few things that you will need to follow. These behaviour and habits will help you to create a younger looking skin for yourself.

Wash your face

Before you hit the sack, you should always wash your face. This looks like a very simple habit but it has its rewards. By washing your face, you are removing dirt, bacteria and make up. If you leave them overnight, they can irritate your skin, clog pores and trigger breakouts. You can is remove the top layer of grime using a gentle face wash. If you use anti-ageing skin care after washing your face, the cream will be able to penetrate deeper and provide you with better results.

Become UV obsessed

You should always take care to protect yourself from UV rays. When you go out, where a sunscreen, ideally SPF 30, every day if you really want younger looking skin. Even if you were exposed as for 10 minutes every day to UV rays, it will cause ageing by resulting in wrinkles and sunspots. Check if the moisturiser already has a broad spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen. If it doesn't have that, you need to apply one which can block both UVA and UVB rays.

Manage your stress

If you want a younger looking skin, you will have to manage your stress. Stress is very bad for your skin besides creating health problems for you. Too much stress can make you look five years older than your chronological age. Constant anxiety will increase the stress hormone cortisol which will cause inflammation resulting in breakdown of collagen. This is a chain of reactions which can result in facial redness and acne flare-ups.

To eliminate inflammation, you can eat antioxidant rich foods like oranges, berries and asparagus. Whenever you feel anxiety or stress, you can use a few minutes to perform deep breathing.

Add more omega-3 to your diet

Omega-3 is good for you when looking for a younger looking skin. These are good fats which are available in different foods like salmon, flaxseed and almonds. They will boost hydration in your body which will keep your skin supple and firm. However, you should not include dairy products and meats because there are saturated fats present in both of them. These fats can free radical damage in your body and when that happens, your skin will be more susceptible to ageing. That is why it is better for you to avoid those fats. By including more fish in your diet, you'll be able to get more omega-3 fatty acids which will help you to get the necessary good fats for a better looking skin.

Use a retinoid

Retinoid are with them in a derivatives and these are very good for your skin. It can speed cell turnover and collagen growth, both of which can help you by smoking fine lines and wrinkles. They can also fade brown spots. There are prescription strength retinoid available like Renova which will provide with faster results. You will start seeing changes in a month. Initially you can use a pea-sized drop to your face every third night and then gradually after acclimatisation, you can start using it every night. There are a milder OTC versions of retinoids available. Look for the rating all ingredient in the product. These mild versions are gentler but you may need up to 3 months to see noticeable results.
