Use tea tree oil

Using tea tree oil, you can spot treat your acne problem. It can fight bacteria and reduce skin inflammation. Scientific studies found that 5% tea tree oil is four times more effective in eliminating acne lesions and six times more effective at reducing acne severity. Another scientific study found that 5% tea tree oil is equally effective at reducing pimples as a lotion containing 5% benzoyl peroxide, which is a common element in most of the effective acne medication. It also does not have any side effects like dryness, burning or irritation.

You need to combine one-part tea tree oil with nine parts water and then dip a cotton swab in it and apply it directly to acne. If you want, after some time you can apply a moisturizer. You need to repeat this process 1 to 2 times every day.

Use aloe vera to get rid of acne

Aloe vera can help you to get rid of acne. The aloe vera gel has antibacterial properties and so it fights the bacteria that causes acne. It is also helpful because it reduces inflammation and promotes wound healing. It is a very popular treatment for different skin problems including acne, psoriasis my rashes, cuts and burns. It contains lupeol, salicylic acid, cinnamonic acid, urea nitrogen, phenols and sulphur. All these elements inhibit the bacteria that cause pimples and thereby help you to get rid of acne. Scientific studies have found that the higher the concentration of aloe vera in the lotion, the more effective it was at reducing pimples. Another scientific study also found that when 50% aloe vera gel is used with tretinoin cream, the combination becomes more effective at eliminating acne than tretinoin cream alone. It can also increase the effectiveness of clove-basil oil.

You will need to scrap the gel out of the aloe vera leaves and then apply that gel to the skin. You will need to repeat this 1 to 2 times every day.

Essential oils

You can use essential oils beside tea tree oil to spot treat your acne problem. There are several other essential oils that pauses antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which will help you to clean your skin up off acne. Another study found that if a gel is created containing acetic acid, orange and sweet basil, that combination is capable of increasing the healing rate of pimples by 75%. While using these essential oils, you should be careful because there are very concentrated and they can cause irritation if you apply them directly to the skin.
