They may provide you with a jolt of energy but your energy will crash after that and you will feel hungry, cranky, unable to concentrate and sleepy when you consume such sugary snacks. Include protein in your snack so that you can get an extra mental boost. Protein-rich foods contain an amino acid which will increase the production of neurotransmitters which will help you by regulating your alertness and concentration. Healthy snacks like fruits, honey, low-fat dairy products, vegetables and whole grains will lift your mood and will help you to battle fatigue.
