1. Yogurt

Yogurt is a by-product of milk and it's good for your skin. It has several nutrients that can help your skin. Lactic acid that yogurt contains offers bleaching properties. If you gently rub yogurt on your skin and keep it for a few minutes and then wash it with lukewarm water, it will change your complexion. You will need to follow this procedure for several weeks. It will remove the excess oil from the skin still maintaining the natural moisture. You can mix some of the flour with a little bit of rose-water and apply the paste on your face, legs and hands. Let it dry and wash it off with water.

4. Honey

Honey is a natural element that works as a bleach. It also moisturizes your skin. It can help you if you have dry skin and uneven skin tone. It also has some antibacterial properties and so can help you with acne scars and age spots.

You can apply pure honey on your face and leave it for a few minutes before washing it off using lukewarm water. It will help you to remove the dead skin cells and make your skin brighter and fresher.

You can make a skin lightening mask using honey. To do that, add 1 teaspoon of honey to 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of powdered milk and half teaspoon of almond oil. After mixing them thoroughly, you can apply it on your skin and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes. Then wash off with cold water.

5. Lemons

Lemon is useful in lightening your skin. It is a natural bleaching agent. It also offers your skin the necessary vitamins C and thus encourage in growth of new cells. Lemons also offer antioxidants, which help you with your skin complexion.

You can take a cotton ball and dip it in fresh lemon juice and apply that on your face. It is also okay to rub a fresh cut lemon on your skin. Let the juice sit on your skin for an hour before washing it with water. It will light in your skin complexion will also reduce scar marks.
