Here are a few of the effective home remedies that work well in removing teeth stains.

Baking Soda, Lemon and Salt: Just take half a teaspoon of salt, baking soda and make a paste by adding a squirt of lemon juice. Brush your teeth using this paste after your have brushed with your regular tooth paste. You will find that within a week, you teeth will be visibly white and shinier. After a week, do it every alternate day for long lasting results.

Orange Peel: Did you know that the vitamin C and calcium in orange peel can do wonders for your oral health? Clean your teeth with fresh orange peel every day and with time, you will find that the yellow stains on your teeth have been drastically reduced.

Banana Peel:Just like orange peel, banana peels are also great for your teeth. Banana peels are rich in minerals like magnesium, manganese and potassium that can help in teeth whitening. For best results run the peel on the teeth for a minute or two and brush with your normal toothpaste after fifteen minutes. Repeat this process for twice or thrice a week.

Hydrogen Peroxide:People swear by the teeth whitening results of hydrogen peroxide. However, make sure that you use 1.5% hydrogen peroxide only and use it cautiously as overdoing can result in sensitive teeth. You can use hydrogen peroxide to rinse and gargle, just make sure that you do not swallow it. Alternatively, you can make a paste of baking soda with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda and gently brush your teeth with it. Do it twice or thrice a week for best results.

Strawberries:Yes, whitening teeth can be delicious too! Strawberries are rich in vitamin C which can really aid in making your teeth whiter. There are a couple of ways to use strawberries for teeth whitening. You can make a paste of a few strawberries and rub it on your teeth gently. Do it twice daily for a couple of weeks and you will see that the yellow stains gradually disappear. Another way is to mix the strawberry paste with half a teaspoon of baking soda. Apply this mixture on the teeth and let it sit there for 10 minutes after which you can rinse your mouth and brush your teeth with your regular toothpaste.

Apple Cider Vinegar: Apple cider vinegar is great for removing teeth stains. It is not only great whitening but also helps in fighting germs that resides in the teeth. You can use apple cider vinegar for teeth whitening in a couple of ways. Add a tablespoon of it in water and use it as a gargle. Another way is to mix a teaspoon of olive oil and apple cider vinegar and apply the mixture on the teeth. Rub your teeth using a tooth brush for 2 minutes and rinse. You will find your teeth are noticeably whiter.
