I found this article to be a clear and useful introduction to a complex problem. Hasnain, your complaint is hilarious and must have been intended to elicit gales of laughter. The apostrophe does not mark the plural form of any word; it marks an omission (which results in an abbreviation or contraction, e.g. “It’s getting late,” where it’s is a contraction of the phrase “it is,”) or the possessive form, e.g. “The students’ essays,” where the essays belong to the students. Thus “thing’s” is a solecism, as is “student’s.” The phrase “more better” contains an obvious redundancy: “more” can function as an adjective or a comparative, with the superlative form most, e.g. “She has more money than he does but her sister has the most,” or “Please talk more quietly.” Better can function as an adjective or an adverb as a comparative of good or well respectively. Thus, if one thing is better than another, that suffices; more better entails needless repetition.

I wouldn’t have launched into this pedantic diatribe if you hadn’t complained about the quality of the article while unwittingly publishing something atrocious yourself in the process. Consider your own blindness before you mock your neighbor for squinting.
