Eating a balanced diet can help you to feel better. The more nutrients you give your body the better you will feel. Try to cut down on sugary, fatty, and salty foods. If you are struggling with your mental health you should consider asking for help. These days you can have online therapy if you don’t want to or don’t have the time to see a therapist in a ‘regular’ setting. Therapy can be quite useful and it can help you to get a lot off your chest and really talk about your feelings and experiences.

Limit your Alcohol Intake

Alcohol is a depressant and can make you feel worse. When you drink large amounts of alcohol it can start to affect your health. Try to cut down on how much you drink but don’t beat yourself up for using alcohol as a coping mechanism. You just have to find a way to cope that’s less harmful to you.

Do Something you Enjoy

A good way to look after your mental health is to do something you enjoy. Do you enjoy gardening? Like to spend time with your friends? Want to draw something? Whatever it is that you like to do why not do it as often as you can? If something brings you real pleasure doing it as often as you can help you to feel better.
