You need to ensure that you do not walk barefoot around the house when you are facing heel pain. If you do so, it can stress the tissue in the bottom of the foot even more. Ice your feet

If you have done any strenuous activity or you have stand for an extended period of time or if you have sat down for a long duration, you can put ice on your feet or do any of the exercises with ice mentioned above.

Wear a splint

If you are suffering from pain in the heel, you can wear a night splint. It will help you by bracing your foot and ankle in the proper position while you sleep. If you are suffering from severe pain, night splints are very important for you as they will help stretch the plantar fascia and ease the pain.
