You need 8 to 12 glasses of water every day to keep your metabolism at a good rate. If you drink cold water, your body will spend some energy to bring it to your core temperature. So, when you drink 8 to 12 glasses of water, you will be spending some more extra calories without doing anything else.

Protein in lunch
